Pages version compatible with iOS9

Hello,

I can't update my ipad (3rd gen) to iOS10. So I am stuck with iOS9.

I would like to install Pages on my ipad, but it requires iOS10.

Where can I download previous version of Pages compatible with iOS9?

Thanks a lot

iPad, iOS 9.3.5

Hi, I just got an ipad and deleted the last person's profile. Now I'm trying to get this app too (Pages). The iPad has ios 9. I tried to "Download Pages from itunes on mac or pc" as suggested above and it did but that's all. I of course got the message "can't install on ipad" but it didn't go and get an earlier version that I could install.

Has this work around been foiled? Any other ways to get older apps on the machine? thanks.

You can obtain the apps in question free from the iTunes Store using a computer, then use the method in Redownload music, movies, TV shows, apps, and books from the iTunes Store, iBooks Store, and App Store - Apple Support to download a compatible version of the app to the device. This method has been temporarily unavailable for GarageBand and the iWorks apps for iOS but is working again now. I've just downloaded GarageBand and Pages to my old iPad 2 to check.
